At the risk of losing my credibility, watching Impact Wrestling has made me see it’s not as bad as I thought it would be. I’ve been forcing myself to watch it the past couple of months as part of my New Year’s Resolutions, and I dare say some parts are even good.

Now I want to make clear that when I say that I am not referring to their weak “Star Wars” tie in on last night’s episode, Garett Bischoff’s storyline, or really anything with Hulk Hogan or Eric Bischoff. I’m sure they were forced to due the tie in as part of some big Spike TV corporate parent company network thing, but comparing the Bischoff’s family feud to the Skywalker’s is a bit much.

But when I look at their women’s division, X-division, and even main event scene, I don’t hate it. I’ve seen worse in wrestling. I’m not going to buy any pay per views, but after I’ve watched an episode of Impact Wrestling I don’t feel like I’ve wasted two hours. And isn’t that really the best compliment someone can give a wrestling company?
