Expedition of Getting the Hell Out of Here
Has there ever been a more self aware storyline in wrestling than the Broken Hardys, the hottest act in Impact wrestling, constantly trying to teleport away from the promotion? I know they’re technically on an “Expedition of Gold” and trying to bring more titles to TNA, but every episode that they spend further away from the Impact Zone, the more I think they just want to go. I mean I’ve loved their expedition, and there are many great wrestlers in TNA that I like too, but when I’m sitting through overdrawn storylines that culminate in weddings, a number one contender who literally walked into his position, Josh Mathews’ commentary, and a few dozen storylines about husbands and wife teams turning on themselves or each other, I get a little tired of it.
