WWE Network Special Events always feel more exciting to me than typical Pay Per Views, and I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s the different day that it airs or the exclusivity of it being on the WWE Network. Maybe it’s the hope that Ambrose will win the title and main event Wrestlemania. There are only a few matches announced so far for Roadblock, but honestly I’m not sure if it’s a full three hour event or just two hours. More may be added as time goes on, but here are my predictions for what we do know.

The Revival vs. Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady with Carmella for the NXT Tag Team Championships
I watch NXT every single week, but I would honestly have a hard time naming the NXT tag champs without having their names written out in front of me. Maybe it’s the result of NXT having so many other colorful and attention grabbing gimmicks, but somehow “The Revival” just fades into the background. It doesn’t help that their team name has changed a few times over the few months they’ve been around. I am a big fan of Enzo, Cass, and Carmella though, so I’m really glad that they get to perform at this higher level event that will hopefully bridge into them being on the main roster. It’s kind of hard to believe that they’ve never held the titles before, despite being some of the most over wrestlers on the NXT roster. I think this would be the perfect opportunity for them to finally win the big ones, so I’m picking Enzo and Cass to win it.
Who will win: Enzo and Cass

Brock Lesnar vs. Bray Wyatt
Given their interaction at the Royal Rumble, I’m really glad that we finally get to see a match between Brock and Bray. I predicted (as did many) that we’d see these two face off at Wrestlemania, and I guess that still could happen if Ambrose wins the main event of Roadblock and subsequently main events Wrestlemania. While I’d love to see Bray get a credible win (or any win, really), I can only see Brock winning this one.
Who will win: Brock Lesnar

The New Day vs. Sheamus and Barrett from the League of Nations
I feel like The New Day is doing charity work by even looking at the flopped “League of Nations” stable, let alone giving them a shot at their titles. Of course to say that Sheamus and Barrett earned a right to fight for the championships would imply that there was any storyline going on here, which, of course, there isn’t. I’m not sure if the League is still supposed to be united together to fight Americans or to be enforcement/stooges for the Authority, but I hope they find a direction soon.
Who will win: The New Day

Triple H vs. Dean Ambrose for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship
You all know that I read up on wrestling news constantly and skew closer to the “smark” side of the wrestling fan spectrum, so please let me be a little bit of a conspiracy theorist for a minute. I think this match is taking place for two reasons: One, so Roman’s haters can see Ambrose challenge for the title, which will hopefully make them (us) more receptive to Reigns winning it at Wrestlemania. And two, so Roman can make his big return to WWE by saving Ambrose from a giant beat down by Triple H and Brock Lesnar. All that being said, I’ve still enjoyed the brief buildup for this match and I’m looking forward to actually seeing it this Saturday night. While it would be fun to see something that would allow a Fatal Four Way to take place in the Wrestlemania main event between Triple H, Reigns, Ambrose, and Lesnar, I think WWE will just stick with Roman vs. Triple H.
Who will win: Triple H
