I think revealing Hornswoggle as the anonymous GM was more WWE’s way of saying “yeah, we don’t care about this angle but it’s done now. Ok, IT’S DONE.”

I think if they’d have left the Anonymous GM’s week of running Raw til after MITB, it could’ve had to a proper reveal (i.e. anyone but Hornswoggle) and lead to a decent storyline for Summerslam. WWE probably just realised they never answered the question, but didn’t have enough time to incorporate a proper build for MITB
He will have driven the White Hummer next and Lifted the WWF title away from Austin and kidnapped Samoa Joe. He was already Vince’s son when Anderson got injured. Hornswaggle your answer to plot holes. Hmm idea for a gimmick lol.
they really expect fans to have no memory either. someone already pointed out all the heelish thing the anonymous GM would do.. including putting Hornswaggle in matches against heels who felt no remorse in just tossing him around the ring.
even having the anonymous GM be Vince as a desperate attempt to stay in control would have been a better payoff for it… though I expected anonymous GM to go the way of GTV and just disappear
In a recent shoot Russo said GTV was supposed to be Tom Green but McMahon nixed it as he had no idea who that was. Thank god for Vince’s backwardness sometimes.
