Hey now. Lesnar and Angle did have that awesome Iron Man match. And the image of him squeezing the life out of a bloodied Hogan made him look like a total badass.

I think that was the first image I ever saw of wrestling, it scared me off from it. Until 05

THANK YOU. I fucking hate Brock Lesnar. The most over-rated and undeserved main eventer of all time.

I was at WrestleMania 19, way up in the cheap seats. We thought Brock straight up broke his neck. Still, I’d personally put that up as one of the greatest WrestleMania main events of all time.

I dunno if this sounds weirds, but I like that you made the characters sort of hispanic. I appreciate that detail!

The young teenager would know about Brock from UFC because UFC is to teenage boys today what Attitude Era WWF was to teenage boys then.

LOL, klunderbunker is a fanboy troll.

    Great comic, and honest criticism.

I actually like Brock being back. Plus give the man some credit, he was an a-hole before but now he’s more humble about things.

And you forgot he beat Rock at SS and beat taker in a HIAC match.

How the comic should have read:

“Who’s that, Dad? Some old-school wrestler?”

“Well son, he was one of the most dominant wrestlers ever who achieved an incredible amount in only two years, before he left for MMA.”

“He must’ve had some great feuds, then!”

“He sure did: Big Show had the best matches of his career with him, his feud with Kurt Angle was one of the best of 2003, his feud with the Undertaker led to the bloodiest Hell in a Cell of all time, his feud with Cena helped cement the latter as a potential main eventer, and his heel turn brought Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit to the main event pictures of Smackdown and Raw respectively.”

“Wow, did they have any big Wrestlemania matches?”

“Brock had an excellent main event for the WWE title at Wrestlemania XIX with Kurt, but he also had a fantastic Iron Man match, a rematch at Summerslam, Survivor Series, a triple threat with Big Show, and too many Smackdown shows to count.”

    “Wow. Super awesome.”

Taranaitch, if you can fit all that dialogue about Brock’s feuds into the second panel, I’ll give you $5.

And the kid would probably have walked away by the end of it.

I’ll toss in another five bucks if he spins the Goldberg match into a positive. Lesnar sucked back then, and he sucks now. I’m proud to say that I’ve never paid to see him in the arena.

Wow… this touched a nerve with the Lesnar fanbois. I’ve no opinion about him or the 30-year-olds marking out for a flash in the pan.

    Kinda shallow…

I mean…ONLY Kurt Angle??? The WWE’s video package of Brock did more justice than this comic!!

Way to go to not mention Brock winning his first WWE title faster than Sheamus! (wait, WAS it faster than Sheamus? I forget….)

and as for Brock being overrated….FAR from it!! If anyone in WWE history was overrated it would be HHH

It amazes me how upset people can get on the internet over satire that targets something they like. In relation to that, can’t comments me flagged or modded?

I am very excited Brock is back, and I still enjoyed this comic.

This is my favorite webcomic out there.

I think those of us who would be classed as “Brock-haters” feel that he was a bit of an ungrateful bastard, being given all manner of accolades in his first year(hell, even before he debuted, he was marketed as being a bigger Kurt Angle, what with all the NCAA stuff, as I think I remember it, likewise with Shelton and Charlie Haas), and then running off to try out for the NFL just because Sable said so(and it was his dream), leaving them high and dry. Plus the lacklustre final match with Goldberg, where the only part the crowd cheered was Austin stunning the crap out of both men. The Shooting Star Press would have been impressive, but the only thing impressed was Brock’s neck into his skull. So yeah…

I removed the original second comment for this comic for hate speech, so if it seems like everyone’s jumping on OctoberRaven for being a troll, they’re actually referring to a comment that no longer exists.

Feel free to agree and disagree with my comics through comments, but please keep from being too vulgar and hate speech-ish. I hate to go all censorship, but I don’t want to turn people off with language even I don’t use. And besides, my wife reads this website and if she found out I suck off John Cena she’ll divorce me for sure!

Brock looks good back then only because his dance partners were great. His return is nothing more than something to feed wrestling fans who are still suffering from attitude era-withdrawal.
