One of my consistently favorite things about Impact Wrestling is how they give their segments a ‘reality tv’ type feel backstage. Rather than discuss secret plans in front of the camera like they don’t know they’re on tv, the wrestlers acknowledge the cameramen and shoo them away when appropriate. So why oh why did they use dramatic voice over for Jeff Hardy last Thursday? We can hear his thoughts? Maybe it’s a little nitpicky, but when something on a wrestling show reminds me of 90’s tv drama in the first five minutes, it’s a sign that something’s wrong.

Botched Spot fun fact: Other potential comic ideas for this topic were “Hardy McBeal” and “Hardilicity.”
