Aces & Eights has been a wild ride so far, mostly bad by my account, but at the end of the day (or last Thursday’s Impact Wrestling) I like where it’s taken us. Usually watching Impact Wrestling I have moments of “Oh hey, this show’s pretty good, why don’t I watch it every week?” when Bobby Roode, Austin Aries, and Joseph Park (yeah, I said it) are on, followed by moments of “Oh yeah, THAT’s why” when Aces & Eights come out and recruit Garett Bischoff as part of their master plan. BUT now we have Bully Ray looking strong as the World Champ and the Hogans looking upset. I like it. The only possible downside is if it comes down to Hogan vs. Bully in a match, with Hogan winning and destroying Aces & Eights… aw, hell. Yeah, that’s probably what’ll happen.
