While I wasn’t really surprised to learn that Undertaker has been rehearsing his past few Wrestlemania matches, it makes a lot of sense. There’s definitely a point in the streak where the quality ramps way up. Maybe going from Mark Henry to Batista from Wrestlemania 22 to 23? I mean, I don’t know for sure when he started rehearsing the matches, but I remember Henry trying to pin ‘Taker in their Wrestlemania casket match, so I’m guessing that wasn’t planned.

I must admit, I’m having a trouble getting into the whole Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker match, and I think it has to do with the Undertaker character. Like I kind of wish that he’d left his evil robes and eyeliner at home this time. Why can’t it just be about this grizzled old ring veteran wanting to kick the crap out of Brock Lesnar? I think he’s intimidating enough on his own just by being a huge tough guy, but then he starts talking about rotting corpses and sending people to hell and it’s all lost for me. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy larger than life characters in wrestling, but up against a guy like Brock Lesnar it just feels dated. I suppose I should just be happy they’re not making Brock terrified of caskets!
