The dirt sheets are reporting that WWE is cracking down on people selling t-shirts that infringe on Daniel Bryan’s “Yes!” catchphrase. I’m guessing this refers to online vendors and not the creepy guys that try to sell you bootleg shirts for five dollars after you go to a WWE show.

I always view any wrestling news tidbits about trademark/ copyright infringement with special interest given that, y’know, this site uses trademarked/ copyrighted names and likenesses all the time. Granted it’s not like I’m trying to compete with any wrestling company’s products or merchandise (and I’m sure I’m not even on their radar), but I clearly remember the e-fed scare of ’04 when WWE started their own fantasy wrestling league and tried to shut down various internet wrestling federations. Those were hard times.
