I have to admit I felt a pang of relief when I found out I don’t get “ION” the station WWE’s new show “WWE Main Event” will be on. There’s only so much wrestling I can take, and with Raw moving to three hours, plus Smackdown, Impact Wrestling, and Ring of Honor I’m maxed out. I know I could just not watch it, but I still get the feeling of obligation. Not having ION frees me from that though, so I can be blissfully ignorant of all of its RAW recaps and JTG matches. Unless they put it on YouTube, anyway.
Oh, and happy 4th of July!

he looks like Punk in the 3rd panel
Lol so true…you can only give but so much until you become a 24hr stay home fan
Second the Punk comparison. And yeah being a wrestling fan can become consuming. I’ve just narrowed it down to watching RAW weekly, and TNa and Smackdown if I can. I also watch DVDs when I get bored.
I have so many recorded episodes of Smackdown it’s ridiculous. I usually just end up deleting them by the time Raw rolls around because by then, what’s the point?
That DVR has alot of pipebombs going off
Yeah, I usually don’t get around to watching Smackdown. It’s kinda sad.
Though I watched the 1st season of NXT. I’d prolly watch that though.
But your right there isn’t enough time to watch ALL of the wrestling shows out there.
I kinda skipped NXT after the second season, and these days it’s like meh. I usually try to catch Raw and Smackdown on the preview, then watch Superstars on the full screen(yeah, I ain’t gonna pay to subsidise the association football fans when I only go to that channel for wrestling). I haven’t even bought a pay per view yet(but that’s also because they keep getting reviewed as sucking). I feel a little trepidation at the thought of Raw going to 3 hours…
I’m sorry, I don’t let my DVR treat me like I’m its bitch.
whatever happened to NXT? It seems like they stopped streaming it altogether, yet advertised the new NXT as though it would be available to watch
Yeah, it totally does look like Punk, but it wasn’t intentional. I guess he’s just seeping into my subconscious.
I also thought NXT season 6 was going to be online, but I think I read something recently about it only being aired locally in Florida. I actually can’t find any mention of Season 6 on wwe.com at all.
I record Raw, Smackdown, NXT and Superstars. I recently felt guilty when my DVR screwed up and deleted about two month’s worth of the last two. Now I’m watching it weekly and it’s a lot of fun. Sort of like TNA but I’m actually watching it instead of trying to remember which channel it airs on here in Australia.
